Here are a few questions that we have had over the past few years from our clients, that might help you with your travel arrangements.
What's your cancellation policy? If reservation is cancelled or changed two weeks to one week prior to arrival the cancellation charge is 50% of cancelled room(s) cost unless room(s) is rebooked or other arrangements are made. If reservation is cancelled within one week prior to reservation, guest will be charged in full for room(s) cancelled unless they are rebooked. In case of cancellations or no show your credit card will be charged accordingly. All cancellation are subject to a $25.00 charge. If you cancel, you must contact Ravenquest Cabins & the Booking Agent (if applicable)
Our location is set off of the mainstream traffic and our cabins are rented primarily by advance reservations. Upon confirmation of your booking of a cabin, it is considered unavailable to anyone else for that time frame.
Are your cabins open year round? No, Our cabins like most in the surrounding area, are only available from May to September.
How far are the cabins from the City of Seward? Cabins are located about 6 miles from downtown Seward, which is about a 10 min. drive.
Are there any restaurants in the cabin area? There are no eating facilities out by the cabins, however, there are eating facilities from mile 1 to 3 on the Seward Highway.
Do the cabins come with bedding & towels? Yes, we do provide the bedding and towels.
Is there cooking facilities in the cabins? Some of our cabins do have indoor cooking, kitchenettes and are supplied with limited of cooking utensils. Each cabin does have outdoor cooking areas, with barbeque and picnic tables.
Are there fire-rings for outdoor fires? Yes, however, fires are subject to any fire burn ban the borough may implement. Fires are to be kept in the fire-rings only and small. Firewood is available for an additional charge.
Will we see any wildlife? Its always possible to see wildlife, we do have moose, brown & black bear that occasionally visit through the area. Please be aware of your surroundings while outdoors.
Are you wheel-chair accessible? Unfortunately, at this time our cabins are not wheel-chair accessible. Our cabins do have the bathroom, sleeping areas and kitchen area on the main floor. Access to the cabins, may have one or two steps.
Can I bring my dog? We do not accept any pets. Due to other clients with alergies to animals, we can not permit any animals in the cabins.
Are you small-children/infant friendly? We enjoy having children stay with us. We do have plenty of space outdoors for them to run and play. We do ask that all children be supervised while around the facilities, primarly for the wildlife that occassionally comes through the area.
Is breakfast served? We do not have full breakfast, however there is Coffee, Teas, Hot Chocolate and instant oatmeal/breakfast packages in the cabins.
How do I make a reservation? You can make your reservations, by calling 907-224-8417. We do require a credit card to hold your reservations. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
How old are the cabins? The first cabin was built in 2004, with the latest one being completed in 2009
